Tonight was my first time at the California Academy of Sciences Nightlife event. I apologize but I’m pretty tired so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

This was a great rainforest replica complete with it’s very own humidity and strange noises coming from all over the place.

Yes these guys are playing Marios Brothers on the original Nintendo Entertainment System in front of a museum display. Tonight was Game Night. Andrew, you would have loved this event. More on this later.

I kept thinking about ‘Batman Returns’ and was expecting Danny DeVito to come out and control all these penguins.

They were excited for The Living Roof.

Thank goodness it was wrapped in plastic.

Like I was saying before, tonight’s Nightlife event included a place where you could play games. At first I thought it was a bit lame because who would want to play board games when there were all these exhibits with EXTREME science to experience?! But then we played a game of Scattergories and random people asked to join in and it became very social and enjoyable. On a side note, it’s tough to come up with words starting wit ‘I’.

Unfortunately there were too many things to see and do that we weren’t able to get wasted and dance the night away. Guess we have to come back.

I’m On A Boat!

Continuing on the notion of taking advantage of what our great state of California has to offer, some family and I went on a San Francisco Bay Cruise yesterday. Great times! It was nice to see the bay from a different point of view. We had an up close perspective of Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge, and The Port of San Francisco.

The Royal Price. Our mode of transportation for the day.

And we’re off.. The city skyline and The Golden Gate Bridge(according to the tour guide that is… He may have had one too many cocktails) in the background.

Alcatraz. Who wants to do the night tour? I hate stuff like that, but for some reason, I’m intrigued in the night tour.

It’s nice to know that Indians are always welcome on Alcatraz.

It was cool because they took us around both ends of the Bay Bridge so we could see all the construction of the “new” bridge. Coming to a Bay Bridge near you sometime never.

Some more views from the Bay, including a lighthouse which looks like an awesome place to throw a house party, AT&T Park, where the Giants finally won a game, and the Ferry Building, which is home to a wonderful Farmer’s Market every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

I was going to tell you about the keg, wild party, almost being kidnapped by pirates, the midget wrestling, meeting Matt LeBlanc and accidentally vomiting on Matt LeBlanc, and being bit by a Pegasus, but then I remembered…
